“Still Not Asking For It” is a photography project designed and completed by Rory Banwell.
Rory is an AIPP accredited professional photographer based on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Rory has almost ten years of photography experience and is a passionate social justice advocate.
The project is designed to be a visual message that consent is required before any kind of sexual contact can occur and to help smash the idea that ANYONE is asking for or deserving of sexual violence or harassment.
This photo project has been designed to not only empower participants, but to also help survivors in the healing process.
No woman is asking to be raped – there is no justifiable excuse.
If you have been affected by sexual violence, please contact a support service near you HERE
If you would like to be involved in the project, please check out the “How can I help?” page.
